Christmas Time is Here Again (O-U-T Spells Out)

prelit_arctic_mist_tree.jpg

Readers,

I’m in the Christmas spirit this year. A lot of times, the whole season rushes up on me, but I’m going to enjoy this month. It’s going to be a good rest of the year. Maybe it’s listening to “O Holy Night” over and over again.

Since we’re posting an article from and an interview with me, I’m going to keep this letter short to avoid overload.

The Ankeny Briefcase is available now, so if you’re in the mood for some great short stories, go check it out. I want to publicly thank, one more time, the folks at Relief Journal and Ariele Gentiles, all of whom were invaluable in getting the project finished.

Burnside is going to be on the anemic side this month, both because of the holidays and because we’re gearing up for the new year, when we’ll be working overtime to take this web magazine to the next level.

Before I recap this issue and sign off, I want to thank all the folks who are reading our humble magazine. We’re excited about the direction we’re heading, and we couldn’t do it without the site’s supporters.

We’ve still got some issues with our server, so the names of authors isn’t showing up. We’re working on that. Bear with us.
